The following is the translation of the Khuzestan Vanguard Socialist Workers’ Cell’s statement on the solidarity fund to support Yaser Ahmadinejad, the victimised oil worker.
The work of the solidarity fund to pay financial aid to Yaser Ahmadinejad, the suspended worker of the National Iranian Drilling Company, continues, and the NIDC workers regularly deposit their financial contributions to the fund.
This initiative, taken by the workers themselves to pay the suspended worker’s wages, is an important achievement. Our comrades have formed a cell in the National Iranian Drilling Company to pay their financial help to this fund.
